About this matter, it is alarming the rate at which almost everyone on the face of the earth wish to go to the grave empty. Everywhere you turn, there is someone repudiating going to the grave full with all that God has put in them. Everyone wants to make an impact to their world before leaving the earth.
This is a fascinating wishful desire but one question always screeches through my mind each time I come across anyone who tells me that either on Social Media or out of it. It is the question, “How full or empty will your soul be?”
This question comes to you and me. How full or empty will your soul be of the knowledge of the real person of God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son and the Holy Spirit, His Spirit?
As much as everyone abhors to go to the grave full, it would be inimical, however, to your soul to go to the grave empty. If your soul goes there empty, what shall be your answer if peradventure He asked, “Do you know who I am?”
Analogically, before you are called in for an interview at any firm of your choosing, you are usually advised to take out time to learn of the company in the interim so as to have a foreknowledge of the firm, in case you are asked questions that border on who they are and what they do.
In the same manner, have you taken out time to have a foreknowledge of He before whom you’d appear for questioning about how you expended the time allocated to you?
Hmm! Does this scare you too?
Then, do something about it.
‘What do I do?’ Did you just ask that question?
Okay, here’s what…
Ask God for the forgiveness of your sinful (Adamic) nature by confessing that sin of yours
Tell Him how sorry you truly are
Ask that Jesus becomes your Lord and Personal Saviour
Promise never to do such again – and mean it wholeheartedly.
Voila, you are now born again! (Do you hate the sound of that?)
Okay, I’ll paraphrase that…
Voila, you are now free of the hold of sin on you!
Now, be rest assured that you’d go to the grave empty but full.
#Winks… I trust you now understand my drift?
