LIFE ROBBERY – a brief advice –

The act of suicide is nothing but a robbery attack on your own property – your life. Though referred to “Your own,” in reality, it is not yours; it is God’s gift to you.

Life is God’s daily gift to any living soul. A gift is meant to be cherished with relish. But when a gift given to you is no longer valued and you decide to throw it away, it’s all to your own loss.

Likewise, the gift of life given to you ought to be cherished with relish on a daily. Moreover, when you get to that point where the option at your disposal is suicide, know that you’re already at a loss before you dare. More so, note that the life you live isn’t yours but God’s; hence, He’d require it at your hands.

You were meant to protect that gift He gave to you. Before you begin to think in the direction of the hangman’s noose, jumping off that bridge or deliberately crashing that vehicle, ponder on what reply to give to God when He’d ask, “Why did you do it?”

Nonetheless, here is your sure victory over the suicidal spirit and its tendencies:

Everyday you awake from sleep, speak the right words into your life and day and at times when you’re faced with unpalatable situations.

Job 38 vs 12-13 says, “Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place, that it might take hold of the skirts of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it? [ESV]

The suicidal spirit and its tendencies are exemplary of the wicked; hence, ward them off from your territory by the positive affirmations from your mouth.

For this reason, I would advice that you fill your heart with the right words and these right words can be sourced from God’s Word. This you must abide by because, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” Luke 6:45 KJV

A word is enough for the wise. Have you got eyes? Then, intentionally read and pay attention to these words.

No matter what the circumstance may be, just know that it is a passing phase.

Thanks for your time.

Remember that you were made od more and for more.

I am yours truly,
Noel O. Louis
